Who operates this site

Precious Metal Calculator is operated by Silvrax Technologies Pty Ltd. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or a request to delete your contact message, use our contact form.

Using the calculator

No visitor account is required. Weight calculations take place in your browser; this application does not intentionally store your entered weights. Your selected metal and weight unit are saved in your browser’s local storage for convenience. You can remove these preferences by clearing this site’s browser data.

Contact messages

When you contact us, we collect your email address, message and any name you choose to provide. We use them to review and respond to your enquiry. Messages are stored in our Cloudflare-hosted database and are available only to authorised administrators. A daily hash derived from your IP address is stored to limit spam; the contact database does not store the raw IP address.

Messages can be deleted by the administrator. Entries older than 90 days are removed when the contact service or administrator inbox is next used. Provider backups may retain copies for a limited period. Please do not submit passwords, payment information or sensitive personal information.

Hosting and administration

Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage and administrator authentication. It may process IP addresses, request metadata and security cookies to operate and protect the service, including on infrastructure outside your country. Administrator email addresses, quotation changes and change timestamps are retained in an audit log. These records are reviewed and retained while needed for security and quotation accountability.

Advertising and privacy choices

We integrate Google AdSense on our public calculator pages to support this site. Ad availability depends on Google approval and our advertising settings. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Personalised advertising may use information about your interests. We do not send your contact messages to Google for advertising.

Where required, we request consent before using advertising cookies or personal data for personalised ads. Any consent message displayed on the site lets you manage your choices. You can also manage personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center and third-party advertising preferences at AboutAds. Browser settings can block or remove cookies; this may affect site features.
