Prices are indicative only and subject to change. Taxes, transaction fees, premiums and other charges are not included. Actual prices may vary based on local market conditions and providers.

How is the value calculated?

Weight in grams ÷ 31.1034768 × local price per troy ounce. One kilogram is 1,000 grams, one pound is 453.59237 grams and one tonne is 1,000,000 grams. This calculator assumes fine bullion of 999 fineness or higher; it is not a jewellery or scrap appraisal.

Why does each country have a different price?

Each market uses its own separately entered local reference. The calculator does not convert a single international price using exchange rates. Prices can differ by provider, quotation type and local conditions.

What do N/A and the update time mean?

N/A means no local market price is available. The update time is the latest website save time for the selected metal, not the time of a market trade or a guarantee that every country was updated together.

A weight-based platinum reference

Select your platinum weight and unit to see local-currency reference values. Australia, China, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom and India are kept as separate markets. N/A means a local reference has not been published.

Platinum purity matters

This calculator is configured for platinum of at least 999 fineness. Items marked 950 do not meet that specification. It does not estimate the value of platinum jewellery, mixed alloys, gemstones or fabrication work.

Reading a platinum estimate

The displayed value uses weight in grams ÷ 31.1034768 × the selected market’s per-troy-ounce reference. A dealer’s buy or sell offer can differ. The website update timestamp is the time the administrator saved the reference, not the time of a market trade.
