Prices are indicative only and subject to change. Taxes, transaction fees, premiums and other charges are not included. Actual prices may vary based on local market conditions and providers.

How is the value calculated?

Weight in grams ÷ 31.1034768 × local price per troy ounce. One kilogram is 1,000 grams, one pound is 453.59237 grams and one tonne is 1,000,000 grams. This calculator assumes fine bullion of 999 fineness or higher; it is not a jewellery or scrap appraisal.

Why does each country have a different price?

Each market uses its own separately entered local reference. The calculator does not convert a single international price using exchange rates. Prices can differ by provider, quotation type and local conditions.

What do N/A and the update time mean?

N/A means no local market price is available. The update time is the latest website save time for the selected metal, not the time of a market trade or a guarantee that every country was updated together.

Silver in grams, kilograms and ounces

Choose the unit printed on your fine-silver bar or bullion packaging and enter its weight. One kilogram is 1,000 grams; one troy ounce is 31.1034768 grams. The calculator converts weight without converting currencies.

Fine silver and sterling silver

The displayed references assume at least 999 fineness, or 99.9% silver. A 925 sterling-silver item is outside this calculator’s default specification. Do not use its full weight as if it were fine silver; this tool does not adjust for alloy content.

Calculating a kilogram of silver

For a 1 kg quantity, the reference value is the local ounce price × 1,000 ÷ 31.1034768. Dealer premiums, taxes, shipping and selling deductions are outside this calculation.
